I am a sound designer and composer with deep love for programming and getting into the technical bits. Passionate about game development and audio-visual media. My dream is to work with sound creatively and arrive at complex technical challenges to make art.
The last two years I’ve been working with SuperCollider Engine and programming language to synthesize sound through code. It’s a rich and versatile tool that allows for an algorithmic approach to music composition that I am excited to implement in my projects.
I love learning new tools and frameworks to bring my ideas to life. I believe it’s one of my strongest traits. Throughout my academic and professional career I worked on numerous projects familiarizing myself with the following software:
Sound Production: Logic, Pro Tools, Reaper, MuseScore 4, Pianoteq 7, SuperCollider, Wwise, Audacity, Sonic Visualiser, Mixxx, FL Studio
Game Dev: Unreal Engine, Unity, GameMaker Studio 2, Blender
Languages: C++/C#, JavaScript, Java, SuperCollider, Python, HTML/CSS, Assembly, Swift, MATLAB
I have previously worked as a frontend developer at OZON, a large e-commerce platform where my team was responsible for developing a user interface for the sellers on the marketplace. There I got proficient with the process of development in large teams and utilizing production tools like Git, Jira, Figma. In my free time I make interactive things. I have 7+ years of experience making websites ranging from academic resources to charity fundraisers to non-profit organization portfolios to dynamic media toolkits.
With a colleague of mine we co-founded an independent game development studio where we share responsibilities in producing original titles. Currently there are two games in development, one being a puzzle maze horror and the other a story-driven rogue-like card game. I personally do all the audio engineering, game programming, and some of the writing for our games.
As a musician my interest lies in minimalist piano and algorithmic electronic music. I have played keyboard for an indie rock band and performed at many venues in the Bay Area with them. Currently am focused on recording an album with my other psychedelic art rock collective and on releasing own compositions. I also love academic music and have written multiple solo piano scores, a composition for a full orchestra, and graphic scores for the New Music Ensemble at SCU and the Santa Clara Laptop Orchestra, with which I got to perform my music live.
I’m currently on the path to finishing my two Bachelor degrees of Computer Science and Music at Santa Clara University.
